Application Engineer (m/f/d)

As an Application Engineer, you will combine strong technical expertise with customer-centric thinking to safeguard existing business and drive new opportunities.

Scope of your role

• Provide engineering support for managed accounts and develop cost-effective sealing solutions
• Serve as the main technical contact for customers, building strong relationships and understanding their applications
• Demonstrate the benefits of our sealing portfolio through tailored solutions and technical expertise
• Manage RFQs, technical complaints, and ensure material compliance
• Deliver market feedback to drive innovation and improve products
• Conduct technical trainings and support customer visits and industry fairs
• Evaluate sealing performance and recommend improvements
• Handle article data management, industrialize design solutions, and approve technical documentation

• Technical degree or equivalent (Mechanical Engineering or similar preferred)
• Ideally 2+ years of experience in an engineering-related role
• Strong understanding of technical drawings, terminology, and mechanical systems
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to build relationships and negotiate effectively
• Customer-focused mindset with a positive, professional attitude
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to multitask with attention to detail and accuracy
