Responsibilities

Technical and business support for internal and external users of GSCF applications
Investigation and resolution of reported issues with Product, DevOps, and Developers
Participation in application releases including requirement gathering, analysis, UAT testing, and deployment assistance
Post deployment checks and continuous monitoring of applications
Troubleshooting application errors and suggesting resolutions
Assessment of risk and impact of production issues and communication with business and technology teams
Ensuring database performance, storage, data scrambling and archiving procedures
Creation and maintenance of PostgreSQL scheduled reports
Administration of Jira and Confluence
Documentation of system architecture, tools, and technical support documentation
Liaison between application users, internal technical teams, and infrastructure departments
Subject matter expertise to stakeholders and team members

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in IT or equivalent experience
Minimum 3 years of working experience in providing technical support
Strong PostgreSQL knowledge
Knowledge of Java programming language or Python
Experience in root-cause analysis, report generation and documentation tools
Analytical and problem-solving skills
Clear oral and written communication skills in English
Self-driven with a sense of urgency
Can-do and positive attitude with adaptability to changing environment
Great communication skills with a collaborative mindset
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Willingness to support end-users

Nice-to-have

Experience with B2B EDI integration
Experience with BI Tools (Power BI, DAX, Power Query)
Experience with Data Warehouse, Snowflake
Experience with dbt
