Responsibilities

Technical and business support for internal and external users of GSCF applications
Quick resolution of application issues and leading technical discussions with clients and projects
Collaboration with Product, DevOps, and Developers to investigate and resolve reported issues
Participation in application releases including gathering requirements, requirement analysis, performing UAT testing, and assisting in deployments to production
Post deployment checks and continuous monitoring of all applications
Troubleshooting application errors and suggesting appropriate resolution
Assessment of risk and impact of production issues and communication with business and technology teams
Ensuring database performance, storage, data scrambling procedures, and data archiving procedures are in place and functioning correctly
Creation and maintenance of PostgreSQL scheduled reports
Administration of Jira and Confluence
Documentation of system architecture, tools, and other technical support documentation
Liaison between application users, internal technical teams, and infrastructure departments
Acting as SME to stakeholders and/or other team members

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in IT or equivalent experience
Minimum 3 years of working experience in providing technical support
Strong PostgreSQL knowledge
Knowledge of Java programming language or Python
Experience in root-cause analysis, report generation and documentation tools
Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills
Clear oral and written communication skills in English
Self-driven with the right sense of urgency
Can-do and positive attitude with strong adaptability in a constantly changing environment
Great communication skills with a collaborative mindset
Ability to work well independently and as part of a vast team
Willingness to go the extra mile in supporting end-users

Nice-to-have

Experience with B2B EDI integration
Experience with BI Tools (Power BI, DAX, Power Query)
Experience with Data Warehouse, Snowflake
Experience with dbt
