Responsibilities

  • Technical evaluation and systematization of Antenna Line Devices (ALD, RET, TMA, filters, tools) across all development phases – from the initial idea, through requirements and concepts, to product verification and release
  • Work closely with Antenna Design & Radio Systems for definition of new features and requirements
  • Analyze and define potentially new features to understand how they can impact the existing product, new product introduction, product verification and production specification
  • Work on RRU + antenna E2E, technical sales solution team and Product Management to identify suitable concepts on ALD
  • Identify, initiate and drive Antenna Line Devices knowledge and act as a competence builder throughout the organization through presentations, lectures, and/or workshops
  • Supporting EMC and LVD Risk Assessments
  • Participate in standardization forums like Antenna Interface Standardization Group.

Requirements

  • Master´s degree or equivalent with a background in mechatronics or electrical engineering
  • +5 years of proven experience with Antenna Line Devices development
  • Work experience with the AISG standard
  • Knowledge of product safety and EMC
  • Understanding of cellular radio networks, radio and RF technologies, products and related standards (3GPP, IEC, NGMN, CPRI, O-RAN)
  • Understanding of PIM
  • RF and radio system knowledge such as RF measurement technics, wireless systems and digital signal analysis
  • High self-motivation and structured way of working
  • Excellent interpersonal and communications skills with a passion for teamwork and collaboration
  • Proficiency in English, both written and spoken
  • German language skills are advantageous

Join Ericsson Antenna Systems in Rosenheim as the Antenna Interface Standards Group - AISG Chief Engineer and play a key role in driving the next generation of antenna line device solutions. As part of the Network Antenna Systemization team, you will combine deep technical expertise in AISG and RF systems with strong cross-functional collaboration to shape, verify and industrialize ALD products (RET, TMA, filters and related tools) across their full development lifecycle. This is an opportunity to influence product strategy, ensure seamless RRU-to-antenna integration, and act as a competence leader across engineering, product management and sales teams.
