Responsibilities

Building and evolving CI infrastructure validating performance methodologies across cloud, on-prem, and hardware targets
Designing controlled, reproducible test environments to distinguish real regressions from environmental noise
Building synthetic workloads and targeted microbenchmarks for validation efforts
Collaborating with architects and analysis teams to understand performance methodologies and embed knowledge into validation strategies
Partnering with IP and silicon teams to ensure tools and methodologies work on next-generation Arm products
Ensuring testing scales with demand for new methodologies, tools, IP, and physical designs

Requirements

Experience building reliable automated test systems with reproducibility
Understanding of performance measurement in CI environments including noise and regression detection challenges
Proactive improvement of CI reliability, validation coverage, and developer feedback loops
Strong Python skills for workflow automation, tooling, and data processing
Proficiency in debugging and problem solving

Nice-to-have

Knowledge in C/C++/AArch64 assembly, Understanding of hardware system architecture including pipelines, caches, MMUs, interconnects, timers, multithreading, Experience with hardware-in-the-loop testing, benchmark automation, or performance dashboards, Familiarity with Linux performance tooling such as perf and ftrace or telemetry systems
