Responsibilities

Electrical and communication engineers design, develop, test, and maintain systems for power generation, electronics, and data transmission, including telecommunications, fiber optics, and 5G networks. They create schematics, analyze systems, perform site surveys, ensure regulatory compliance, and solve technical problems in industries like manufacturing, aerospace, and telecommunications.

Requirements

System Design & Development: Design, test, and implement electrical circuits, components, and communication systems (radio, CCTV, fiber optics, internet).
Installation & Maintenance: Supervise the installation, operation, and maintenance of electrical machinery and communication equipment.
Testing & Troubleshooting: Diagnose faults in systems, develop test procedures, and ensure compliance with safety standards (e.g., IEEE, IEC).
Project Management: Plan project timelines, estimate budgets, and prepare technical documentation and reports.
Collaboration & Support: Liaise with clients, suppliers, and other engineers while providing technical support for new and existing technologies.

Nice-to-have

Education: A Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or Telecommunications Engineering.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD), circuit simulation, and programming languages (e.g., C/C++, Python).
Knowledge Areas: Solid understanding of electromagnetism, signal processing, digital/analog communication, and, in some cases, power systems.
Soft Skills: Analytical thinking, problem-solving, communication skills, and project management skills.
