Állás leírása

Responsibilities

Assists Accounting and Finance Manager with monthly closings
Supervision of accounts payable and receivable, billing, trade accounting, corporate cash and payroll
Responsible for financial statements and general ledger
May administer credit and collection activity within assigned area of responsibility/portfolio
Prepares statutory reporting for Greif’s international entities across various jurisdictions
Executes processes and controls (including SOX) around the statutory filing preparation
Implements material changes in U.S. and non-U.S. statutory and compliance regulations
Participates in statutory and compliance projects relevant to jurisdictional responsibilities
Participates in cross-functional projects involving international restructuring, M&A activities and divestitures within responsible jurisdictions
Completes quarterly and year-end statutory compliance obligations including statutory, tax and government reporting requirements
Supports Company involvement in matter resolution and audit inquiries with tax authorities, government authorities, and internal and external auditors
Prepares balance sheet and income statement monitoring over legal entities and strategic business units
Prepares SOX controls related to entity-level areas for responsible jurisdictions
Serves as liaison with enabling functions and business operations to design and implement internal controls and process improvements
Works with multiple parties in support of compliance reporting obligations
Executes responsibilities and timely updates reporting in line with KPIs and dashboard reporting
Provides support needed for legal entity Directors in fulfillment of legal entity compliance obligations
Participates in a culture of continuous improvement, accountability, and collaboration within the accounting team
Delivers high-quality, accurate, and timely financial information in accordance with regulatory requirements
Maintains operating procedures to deliver accurate and timely statutory reporting in an efficient delivery model
Makes recommendations to increase efficiency and accuracy
Develops and maintains financial reporting processes, systems, and tools
Supports initiatives to ensure compliance with internal controls, policies, and procedures within responsible area

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
MBA or CPA (or local equivalent) preferred
Minimum of 5-8 years of experience in financial and/or reporting roles
Experience in statutory and compliance reporting for one or more jurisdictions
Ability to be accountable for delivering results on strict timelines
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to communicate to a variety of stakeholders
Ability to adapt to changing business needs
Experience in a fast-paced, dynamic environment a plus
