Responsibilities
- Identification of highest-leverage AI opportunities in the developer workflow
- Building and maintaining the internal agentic AI platform engineers rely on daily
- Ownership of foundational architecture and standards for agent and model release evaluation and deployment
- Building and improving onboarding, documentation, and discovery layers for AI tools
- Staying plugged into agentic AI and developer-tooling trends to shape internal standards and roadmap decisions
- Contributing to organizational AI enablement for engineering including learning programs and change management
- Instrumentation and measurement of adoption and impact of internal AI tooling
Requirements
- 5+ years of software engineering experience with focus on developer tooling, platform engineering, or internal-facing/DevX systems
- Meaningful hands-on experience building with AI/LLMs and shipping agentic solutions
- Proven ability to build internal tools making AI capabilities accessible to engineers
- Natural collaboration skills with engineers and understanding of engineering pain points
- Strong full-stack proficiency with TypeScript and related ecosystem
- Deep familiarity with API design and integration including RESTful services and MCP
- Deep hands-on experience with LLMs, prompt engineering, agent frameworks, RAG, and tool-use/function-calling patterns
- Production experience with AWS and modern CI/CD practices
- Genuine understanding of AI safety and security especially around code execution and internal system access
- Experience or strong interest in developer experience fundamentals
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent work experience
