Responsibilities

An Agile Coach is instrumental in driving the organization towards agility, fostering a culture of collaboration, continuous improvement, and responsiveness, all tailored to meet the specific needs and goals of the collaboration between Business units.
Main tasks, roles and responsibilities:
Agile Methodology Implementation:
The objective is to lead Business in adopting and implementing Agile methodologies. This involves introducing Agile principles and practices to create a more adaptive and responsive organizational structure.
Tailored Training and Mentorship:
An Agile Coach provides targeted training sessions and ongoing mentorship to teams and individuals at Business, customizing the approach to suit our unique business needs. This ensures that everyone understands and embraces Agile concepts, fostering a common understanding across the organization.
Continuous Improvement Advocacy:
Actively advocates for and support a culture of continuous improvement at Business units. By working closely with teams, an AC identifies areas for enhancement, addresses challenges, and encourages a mindset that values learning and evolution.
Impediment Resolution:
Addressing impediments is critical to Agile success. An AC focuses on identifying and resolving obstacles that hinder the progress of Agile teams at Business, whether they are related to processes, communication, or organizational dynamics.
Collaboration Enhancement:
An AC emphasizes and enhances collaboration within Business, promoting effective communication and shared responsibilities. This collaborative mindset is vital for achieving Agile goals and delivering value to our customers.
Feedback Integration:
An AC ensures that the Business  establishes a culture where feedback is integral. By encouraging teams to embrace feedback loops, we can continuously refine our processes, respond to changing requirements, and improve the overall quality of our deliverables.
 
Scalable Agile Practices:
As Business  grow, an AC plays a key role in scaling Agile practices across various teams and projects. This involves ensuring consistency in the application of Agile frameworks and methodologies to maintain alignment with our organizational objectives.
Learning Organization Cultivation:
An AC contributes to shaping Business  into a learning organization where experimentation and learning from experiences are encouraged. This approach supports innovation and helps us stay adaptable in a dynamic business environment.
Cultural Transformation:
A successful Agile transformation often requires a cultural shift. An AC actively works on instilling an Agile mindset within Business, aligning our corporate culture with the principles of the Agile Manifesto.
Performance Measurement and Monitoring:
An AC establishes relevant metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of Business's Agile adoption. Regular monitoring of progress allows us to make informed decisions and optimize our Agile strategies.

Requirements

Education:

  • University degree in Computer Science/Business Informatics or similar education
  • Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) or similar

Work experiences – time/seniority/sector:

  • 4+ years as an Agile Coach in a bigger company

Technical/ IT knowledge:

  • Should be familiar with tools like Confluence and Jira

Language – with level

  • Englisch (C1)
  • German (C1)
