Responsibilities

You take ownership of quality activities across the entire product development lifecycle - from concept to series production
You act as the key quality representative within cross-functional, international project teams
You design and implement project-specific quality strategies, applying advanced methods for risk prevention and validation
You ensure compliance with customer requirements as well as applicable standards and regulations
You collaborate closely with internal stakeholders and external partners, coordinating all quality-related interfaces
You actively contribute to design reviews focusing on manufacturability, quality, and reliability
You lead risk assessments and structured problem-solving initiatives
You support product validation, approval processes, and production ramp-up phases
You analyze quality metrics and initiate continuous improvement actions

Requirements

You hold a degree in engineering or a comparable technical field
You bring several years of experience in quality engineering within complex development environments (e.g., automotive, aerospace, or similar industries)
You have strong exposure to system-level development, ideally within electro-mechanical or mechatronic systems
You are proficient in advanced quality tools, methods, and relevant industry standards
You demonstrate strong analytical thinking and a structured, solution-oriented approach
You have excellent communication skills and the ability to lead cross-functional teams without direct authority
Fluency in English (C1-C2) is mandatory; additional languages such as German or French are a plus
You are willing to travel internationally (approx. 40%) and work in a highly operational, on-site role (Weil am Rhein or Potsdam preferred)
