Adoption Specialist

Hydro Global Business Services (GBS) is an organizational area that operates as an internal service provider for the Hydro group. Its ultimate purpose is to deliver relevant IT, financial and HR business services to all business areas within the company.

Role purpose:

The role of an adoption specialist is focusing on placing new IT services, tools or products to operation successfully for internal employees and customers, shortening the onboarding period, reduce the occurrence of early life incidents. He/she works on improving stages in the adoption process, such as software onboarding, user training, IT technical support and customer service.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan and execute adoption campaigns to promote awareness of Modern Workplace tools, their benefits and encourage active participation among users
  • Ensures that the users of the new product/service are using it to their fullest extent and for their intended purpose for high scale of productivity
  • Focuses on user experience and user engagement for high customer value
  • Participate in designing, developing and manage solutions
  • Understands user journeys and identifies areas for improvement within
  • Designs, implements and broadcasts communication materials on various channels, cooperates with other engagement teams internally
  • Establishing and starting up Community Hubs designed for providing a range of high quality and cost-effective services to IT users, with a potential to develop new services in response to changing community needs
  • Identifies and attracts related IT user populations and engage them to community hubs

Requirements:

  • Preferably bachelor's degree in communication/marketing, IT, HR or related field
  • Relevant working experience in organisational or IT change management (preferably in IT sector)
  • Basic knowledge of the Agile Methodologies: e.g. Scrum, Framework, Kanban, Agile
  • Fluency in English
  • Multinational environment/work experience is an advantage
  • Service design, user experience improvement, community grounding, AI experience are plus
  • Scaled Agile experience is a plus

Preferred soft skills:

  • Excellent communication and social skills, solid experience and interest on social media
  • Motivated, forward leaning and natural urge to “do things better”
  • Customer oriented, people skills and experience in leading and influencing people and their work
  • Ability to work in a true global team setup and to cooperate with internal and external stakeholders
  • Self-motivation and ability to stay focused in the middle of distraction
