Responsibilities

  • Verify invoices and supporting documents for correct entry, mathematical accuracy, and proper account codes.
  • Classify, code, and summarize financial data using journals, ledgers, and accounting systems.
  • Record, store, access, and analyze computerized financial information using property software.
  • Maintain accurate financial records and ensure proper filing, document security, and confidentiality.
  • Support period-end/month-end closing procedures and prepare required reports.
  • Control, secure, and maintain petty cash, cashier banks, cash equivalents, and related documentation in line with SOPs.
  • Participate in internal, external, and regulatory audits and ensure compliance with SOPs.
  • Communicate professionally with guests and colleagues; support coworkers in understanding tasks; handle phone calls according to standards.

Requirements

  • Experience in Accounts Payable or an accounting support role (hospitality experience is an advantage).
  • Knowledge of Peoplesoft is an advantage
  • Basic understanding of invoice compliance (incl. VAT) and ability to support external tax/accounting providers with documentation when needed.
  • Clear communication skills; ability to follow up with suppliers and internal departments professionally.
  • English working proficiency
  • Relevant education in finance/accounting is preferred.
