What You would do at KPMG:
- Support various client-side financial and accounting projects, including AR-related activities.
- Contribute to the implementation and testing of a new revenue recognition / billing software.
- Prepare ad-hoc reports and related analyses.
- Maintain close contact with different stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with client policies and proactively highlight execution issues.
- Work in close cooperation with the AR team and other finance functions.
What brings you aboard:
- A degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or a related field.
- 2–3 years of general ledger accounting or audit experience (in SSC environment or at an accounting service provider).
- Strong accounting knowledge with the ability to understand end‑to‑end booking processes, both according to IFRS and local GAAP (mainly Hungarian).
- Experience supporting tasks and projects on the AR side (advantage).
- Exposure to revenue / billing software (a strong plus).
- Hands-on experience with ERP applications (Microsoft Dynamics is an advantage) and strong MS Excel skills.
- Excellent analytical capabilities, attention to detail, and precision.
- Strong communication skills with a customer-focused mindset.
- Ability to organise, prioritise, and structure tasks independently.
- Full-time availability and the ability to work in a hybrid setup, with up to 4 days per week at the client site if required.
- Upper intermediate/advanced English proficiency (written and spoken) and native Hungarian.
- Advantage: ability to start within 1 month.
