Responsibilities

Tracking payments to internal and external stakeholders
Manage all accounting transactions
Reconcile accounts payable and receivable
Ensure timely bank payments
Compute taxes and prepare tax returns
Audit financial transactions and documents
Reinforce financial data confidentiality and conduct database backups when necessary
Comply with financial policies and regulations
Manage bank payment

Requirements

Familiar with local tax laws, processing tax payments and returns
At least 3 years work experience as an Accountant
Fluent in English (both written and verbal) and Hungarian
Excellent knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures, including the Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
Advanced MS Excel skills (Vlookups, pivot tables)
Experience with general ledger functions
Attention to detail and good analytical skills
Occasionally is willing to work in other work location (Maglód)

We are looking for an Accountant to manage all financial transactions, from fixed payments and variable expenses to bank deposits and budgets. An Accountant helps businesses make critical financial decisions by collecting, tracking, and correcting the company’s finances. They are responsible for financial audits, reconciling bank statements, and ensuring financial records are accurate throughout the year.
