Accountant (m/f/d)% - International Commodity Trading (Englisch & German required)For our client, an internationally active SME in the commodity trading sector, we are seeking an experienced and “hands-on” accounting professional to join their team. In this role, you will take full ownership of the company’s financial accounting and work closely with the CFO. This position is ideal for an accounting professional who thrives on responsibility and enjoys operating in a fast-paced, international environment. We are looking for someone who is independent, self-managed, and curious to learn and develop.Accountant (m/f/d)% – International Commodity Trading (Englisch & German required)Your tasksFull ownership of financial accounting and reportingPreparation of quarterly and annual financial statements in accordance with IFRSManagement of trade accounting activities, including revenue accruals, COGS, inventory valuation, and collateral controlPreparation and submission of VAT returnsManagement of payment processes and ongoing communication with banksClose collaboration with external auditors and support during audit processesMaintenance, improvement, and further development of accounting and finance systemsProvision of administrative and finance-related support to the General ManagerPayroll accounting, including social security contributions (limited headcount)Active involvement in the upcoming ERP implementationYour profileCompleted education or degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (a Swiss Federal Certificate is an advantage)At least three years of relevant accounting experience, ideally in an international environment (experience in commodity trading is a strong plus)Advanced Excel skills and familiarity with ERP systems; experience with ERP implementations is a strong advantageFluent in English (company language) and proficient in German for communication with local and tax authoritiesIndependent, well-structured, and reliable working styleHigh attention to detail, with a strong sense of ownership and curiosity to learnThe company offersInsight into a dynamic, international business environmentHigh level of autonomy and responsibility within a multicultural teamNo overtime requiredHumanis AGPrime Tower · Hardstrasse 201 ·ZürichTelefon · jid6c561bbpn jit0207pn jiy26pn
