Responsibilities
Preparing and issuing accurate invoices to customers in line with agreed payment terms
Handling incoming payments and applying them correctly to customer accounts
Tracking and resolving discrepancies in payments and accounts
Keeping track of overdue accounts and sending payment reminders
Working with customers to arrange payment plans for overdue accounts
Investigating and resolving billing issues and discrepancies with customers
Keeping accounts receivable information up to date and monitoring cash flow
Collaborating with sales and customer service teams to resolve billing queries or disputes
Ensuring compliance with company policies and financial regulations related to accounts receivable
Assisting with internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation
Contributing ideas for improving accounts receivable processes and workflows

Requirements
2-5 Years of experience in accounts receivable or finance role
Good understanding of invoicing, processing payments, and reconciling accounts
Attention to detail for accuracy in invoices and payments
Strong communication skills for professional and friendly interaction with customers and colleagues
Strong organisational skills and time management
Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Excel
Problem-solving ability for identifying and resolving payment discrepancies
Team spirit and ability to collaborate with sales, customer service, and finance teams
Solid understanding of basic accounting principles and financial regulations
Fluency in English, both written and spoken
Customer-focused and professional attitude
Good understanding of invoicing, processing payments, and reconciling accounts
