Responsibilities

  • implementing and testing network theory and statistical algorithms
  • participating in the documentation of research and development grant applications
  • scientific literature search and processing
  • communicating with research partners
  • working according to ISO 9001 standards

Requirements

  • relevant university degree (bioinformatician / biologist / bioengineer / biotechnologist / info-bionic engineer / molecular bionic engineer / doctor of medicine / pharmacist)
  • advanced level programming skills
  • confident molecular biology skills
  • minimum intermediate level statistical skills
  • knowledge of PHP/JavaScript (client-side or NodeJS), web technologies
  • active English language skills

  • flexibility and ability to work under pressure

Nice-to-have

  • previous participation in bioinformatics research projects
  • experience in analyzing RNA sequence or other omics data
  • knowledge of C/C++, python, R programming languages
  • experience using the UNIX (GNU/Linux) command line
  • knowledge of a version control system (e.g. git)
  • knowledge of database systems (e.g. MySQL)
  • solid mathematical theoretical background
