The work can be managed remotely – with time-to-time office presence depending on the team’s agreement and the demand of the respective professional area – from any location in Hungary. In case of some company events, office attendance is expected from the colleagues. Technical conditions for working from home are fully in place.

Overall Purpose of Job:

One of the biggest challenges of Compleo Charging Software is transferring the complex use cases of e-mobility business into intuitive self-services for their customers. The aim is to make the access to EV charging easy and comprehensive for both Compleo Charging Software’s business and end customer by continuously improving the usability of the customer-facing applications and processes. Additionally, the company plans to build a strong new brand for EV charging software within year 2024. Within this context high-quality designs being applied to every application that convey the brand logic to the users.

Main tasks, roles and responsibilities:

• As UI/UX Designer you will analyze complex requirements from a business and user perspective and create optimal user experience as well as appealing user interfaces that correspond to Compleo Charging Software’s new brand.
• You create customer journeys and wireframes to visualize operating logic and user guidance.
• You create design patterns to ensure a consistent UI/UX experience across the development teams.
• You design reusable and scalable components (design system) taking into account accessibility, usability, brand awareness, technical implementation options and system interfaces.
• As an expert in your field you have the autonomy to make critical design decisions and take ownership of your UI/UX style guide
• Based on current developments and user feedback you continuously optimize the UI/UX.
• You will work with international colleagues in the scaled agile software development program using SAFe methodology and Scrum. Your sparring partners are especially the product owners and frontend developers of development teams.

Education:

• Successfully completed studies in the field of UI/UX design or similar education

Work experiences – time/seniority/sector:

• 4+ years of professional experience with modern UI/UX design in the area of Web applications for B2B as well as apps for B2C users and you have successfully delivered high-quality UI/UX designs for complex web applications
• Medior to senior level experience

Technical/ IT knowledge:

• Experience with common usability methodologies
• Experience with developing design systems
• Strong knowledge of tools and technologies, such as Confluence and Figma
• Understanding of frontend development principles HTML, CSS and JavaScript

Language – with level

• Fluent English

Mobility requirements

• As per need – usually 2-4 weeks per year to Germany or similar

Required Skills and Competencies:

• You are enthusiastic over for pretty frontends and making complex functionalities intuitive to use.
• You have a passion for innovative problem-solving, finding creative and pragmatic solutions that balance user needs, technical feasibility, and business goals
• You have strong communication skills and are proficient enough to question existing solutions and are able to identify and address design challenges
• Ideally, you have already some experience in the EV charging business.
