TECHNICAL TRAINING SPECIALIST

Our Partner has a long history of research and development focused on IT hardware and software solutions. It serves businesses of all sizes in over 170 countries. It’s Competence Center in Budapest provides high-added-value services primarily in the fields of finance, supply chain, marketing, customer support, after sales, sales tracking and environment/operational excellence to the European, Middle-Eastern and North-African entities.

Responsibilities:

    As a Technical Specialist:
  • Driving product improvement and customer satisfaction up
  • Providing Technical Support
  • Managing the fleet of training devices and equipment on site
  • Providing to the Direct and Indirect Service Partners hardware 2nd level support
  • Giving parts and repair recommendation for partners
  • Monitoring Product Quality issues
  • Analyzing root cause of failure
  • Sizing potential field solutions to fix the issue
  • Coordinating communication with appropriate functions
  • Documenting and communicating action plan
  • Recognizing cost and customer satisfaction impacts of those issues
  • Tracking and reporting improvements
  • Contributing in roll-outs as a technical expert


  • As a Trainer:
  • Delivering trainings to the Partners
  • Testing and providing feedback to the central team on the quality of training materials
  • Giving presentations to the partners
  • Supporting and initiating group learning activities
  • Stimulating individual training results
  • Adapting training materials to target population, feedback hands-on training results to central
  • Administering all training sessions, track partner’s certification status

Requirements:

  • BSc/MSc degree Engineering field or equivalent experience is an advantage
  • Minimum 3 years of professional experience in Hardware Support and/or Technical trainer position
  • Knowledge of performance/skills based training systems, and current best practices in adult learning would be a benefit
  • Experience as an onsite technician is an advantage
  • Very good Communication & presentation skills in English
  • Strong technical skills
  • Technical awareness and know how to work with IT systems
  • Comprehensive technical skills (at least basic electronic-, mechanical-, software coding and chemical knowledge)
  • Engineering approach
  • Familiarity with most common office products
  • Other European languages is an advantage
