Technical Support Engineer



    The role is to support the large scope of the Engineering activities, from Airworthiness to AMP passing by Fleet modification campaign and technical delays reliability.

Responsibilities / Main tasks

  • Track Wizz Air technical delays on daily basis versus the root cause and suggest mitigations;
  • Report reliability data, technical delay and fleet utilization internally and to external organizations (LHT, Airbus, IAE);
  • Supervise aircraft and engine logbooks update;
  • Manage reliability data service;
  • Creation and management of continued airworthiness data (such as AD/SB/EO/AMP status reports);
  • Manage Lessor audits and requests;
  • Manage Aircraft Station License (Radio Licence) obtaining, updating on-board of each aircraft including and control their costs;
  • Collect and provide all required data (records and documentation) for continuing airworthiness review certificate renewal and extension;
  • Manage Airworthiness certificate’s review and extension process including closure of physical and documentation audit and review findings;
  • Check and approve Subcontracting CAMO Tasks (SCAMT) invoices;
  • Control of the SCAMT activities;
  • Approval of the Customer Approval Sheet provided by SCAMT for modification acceptance;
  • AD/SB/MOD documentation assessment;
  • Implement and manage part-21 and reliability fleet modification;
  • Control of the Structural Damage Management into AMOS;
  • Aircraft Maintenance Program reliability vs. costs improvement;
  • Other tasks given by the Head of Engineering;
  • Cooperation at developing and creating processes and procedures;
  • follow applicable requirements of Safety Management System.

Authorization scope

  • Reporting of technical delays and fleet utilization;
  • Manage archiving of records and storage of continuing airworthiness documentation;
  • Issue Work Orders;
  • Establish documentation system of CAMO;
  • Authorize Continued Airworthiness Records and Status Lists;
  • Providing data, documentation & records for ARC review;
  • Issuing corrective actions for findings during ARC review;
  • Informing Authority about the ARC review process and result;
  • Providing maintenance data for SCAMT provider.

Requirements & Competencies

  • Education: Finalized College or University degree
  • Fluent English knowledge (both spoken and written)
  • Middle level of technical education
  • Five years of experience in continuing airworthiness or Aircraft Engineering system
  • Requirement in c) can be replaced by aeronautical degree (acceptable to NTA-AA)
  • A320 GenFam training (Level I) or similar aircraft
  • Knowledge of Part M, Part 145 and relevant parts of Part 21 regulation
  • Knowledge of maintenance program concept
  • Knowledge of the CAME
  • Hold A320 Level III training
  • Knowledge of relevant parts of OM, operational requirements and procedures
  • Knowledge of AMOS and MS Office tools
  • Knowledge of relevant parts of EASA OPS and Part-26 regulation
