Technical Support Engineer

    Our American partner company – who is among the 10 most innovative brands worldwide – is looking for a Technical Support Engineer.
    If you would like to solve complex issues and support their Java-based open source portal solution, this position is yours.

Responsibilities

  • resolve mission-critical issues for customers building intranets, extranets, and websites with the leading Open Source Portal
  • work closely with the development team to maximize customer satisfaction
  • use your technical knowledge and creativity to solve unique issues
  • configure different environments
  • work with a simulated customer environment
  • always respond to the customer requests with insight

What skills we’re searching for

  • experience with JAVA application server technologies (Weblogic, JBoss, Tomcat) and Webserver technology (Apache httpd)
  • good problem solving and interpersonal skills
  • motivation for continuous learning and improvement
  • fluency in English

Pluses

  • Java development experience/knowledge
  • knowledge of various Java frameworks
