Software Engineering Lead

If you join our Salesforce Centre for Enablement team, you may have the following responsibilities:

    • Design, build and deploy reusable Salesforce components and services as well as Salesforce applications to be used by Salesforce C4E and our customers;
    • Drive Salesforce Developers Community;
    • Develop and enforce Salesforce design, code and quality assurance standards;
    • Provide support to Product teams and Citizen developers
      • Investigate and resolve Platform issues, action service requests, review code and configuration implemented by projects, manage multiple Salesforce Environments;
    • Support BP Salesforce Citizen Developers program;
    • Lead more junior team members.

In the Software Engineering Lead role, we have the following requirements:

    • Ideally a Bachelor's (or higher) degree from a recognized institute of higher learning, ideally focused in Computer Science, MIS/IT, Mathematics or a hard science
    • Excellent Knowledge of Salesforce Industry standard and best practices
    • Proven track record of building lightning applications on salesforce with both point-and-click and programmatic tools
    • A good understanding of building custom solutions using Apex and lightning components
    • Excellent understanding of Salesforce workflow and automation capabilities
    • Experience with deploying salesforce solutions through sandbox environments
    • A track record of working in an agile environment and developing features from user stories and acceptance criteria
    • Following certificates would be advantageous:
      • Certified Salesforce Administrator
      • Certified Salesforce App Builder
      • Certified Salesforce Platform Developer I, Platform Developer II
    • Fluency in English.
