Today, it is a major research and development hub within the Bosch world focusing on the big mobility trends: automated, electrified and connected mobility. More than 2100 engineers are working together on complex automotive products within various fields of engineering from software to mechanical and hardware product development. The divisions Chassis Systems Control (CC) and Automotive Steering (AS) develop innovative components, systems and functions in the field of vehicle safety, vehicle dynamics and driver assistance. Through the combination of systems based on cameras, radar and ultrasonic sensors, electric power steering and active or passive safety systems we not only make driving safer and more comfortable today but we are also building the basis for the autonomous driving of tomorrow.

Your contribution to something big:

>Perform system simulations using leading automotive products (MATLAB/Simulink, Carmaker, GT-Suite)

>Investigate vehicle controls, powertrain concepts and system behavior by means of simulation

>Integrate calculations and simulation models from different domains (mechatronic, electric and thermal systems of vehicles)

>Analyze results of simulations and offer recommendations for the product development team

>Development of simulation methods and tools

>Technical collaboration with different technical units as a member of an international team

>Creating documentation and present the results for multidisciplinary teams

What distinguishes you:

>BSc/MSc in mechanical-, electrical- or vehicle engineering, computer science, physics, mathematics or comparable.

>Motivation to explore and learn the product as a complete system

>Experience with at least one of the followings: MATLAB, Simulink, Carmaker, GT-Suite
(or Scilab, Amesim, Adams, Modelica as alternatives)

>Great problem solving skills, analytic mindset and logical thinking

>Programming skills (C/C++/C#, Java, Python) is an advantage

>English language knowledge (German is an advantage)

>Prior experience with simulation related projects in the field of control technology is an asset

>Ability to work within a technical team effectively and represent the simulation field in the product development
