Senior Strategy Analyst

Join our Chemicals Market Strategy and Product Development Team and play a key role in shaping the growth and direction of MOL Group Chemicals.

We offer a 2-year fixed-term employment contract.

• Develop product line strategies and manage both organic and inorganic growth initiatives that align with MOL Group Chemicals’ strategic goals.

• Conduct market analysis, competitor benchmarking, and early-stage business assessments to support strategic projects, due diligence, and decision-making.

• Lead idea generation initiatives, evaluate technical and commercial business proposals, and identify new opportunities along the value chain—building robust, data-backed business cases.

• Define project charters and scope, develop resource and project management plans, and ensure completeness of business cases.

• Guide cross-functional project teams, actively manage project risks, define risk response plans, and ensure risk acceptance criteria are in place.

• Maintain high-quality project documentation, capture lessons learned, and support the development of MOL Group’s project management culture.

• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to align initiatives, share insights, and drive collaboration.

• BSc/MSc in Economics, Business, Chemical Engineering, or related field.

• Fluent in English with excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

• 5+ years in strategy, business development, consulting, or a fast-paced analytical environment.

• Strong strategic thinking, analytical skills, and problem-solving capabilities.

• Experience in project management, cross-functional team coordination, and stage-gate processes.

• Knowledge of the chemicals/downstream value chain is a plus.
