Senior Quality Engineer

Our client is a globally well-knowned & prestigious company that works in the Energy sector. Due to the strategic plans, this company develops the Hungarian presence with establishment of a totally new production line over the past period.

• Ensuring and improving production quality – monitoring product compliance, reducing scrap and costs.
• Managing nonconformities and performing root cause analysis (8D) – developing and coordinating corrective and preventive actions.
• Analyzing quality indicators (KPIs) – identifying areas for improvement and cooperating with related departments.
• Supporting audits and trainings – preparing for internal and external audits, conducting quality-related trainings.
• Participating in new product introductions – quality planning and process improvement during production start-up.
• Participating in international project regarding the implementation of ERP system

• Ideally, higher level education as BSc or Msc degree (engineer / technical degree)
• At least 2-3 years experience in quality assurance and in manufacturing environment
• English & Hungarian language knowledge on negotiation level
• Comprehensive understanding of production processes in terms of quality, engineering, logistics and manufacturing
• Quality/defect cost tracking and analysis ability
• Perfect understanding and ability to use quality tools (8D, 5Why, APQP, PPAP, FMEA, CAPA, RCA, SPC, Lean, Kajzen)
• Comprehensive computer skills (MS Office; ERP handling)

• Experience in CNC machining, welding, and metal component processing is an advantage
• Knowledge of SAP is an advantage
