SCM REPORTING ANALYST

Procurement - Supply Chain Management (non-hydrocarbon) organization is looking for an ideal candidate for designing, developing and producing reports and performing data analytics on large data sets as part of a high performing Operational Procurement team.

As part of the team, you will:

  • Perform ad-hoc reporting related to process performance, issue resolution
  • Perform statistical analysis and data mining including time series analysis and text analysis to identify and highlight trends or root causes in Operational Procurement and in the whole Supply Chain Management
  • Build self-explanatory visualization on the analysed data sets that helps the interpretation of internal or external performance
  • Produce the Procurement reporting pack, dashboard reports and any other regular reports required for running an efficient and data-driven Supply Chain Management
  • Pro-actively propose to line management process/service improvement initiatives and participate in continuous improvement projects
  • Follow direction of line management in implementing changes to processes and ways of working
  • Handle special projects assigned by the team lead

What we need from you:

  • Relevant bachelor’s degree (Statistics, Data Analytics, Economics, etc.)
  • Thorough knowledge of the Purchase to Pay process;
  • 2+ years prior experience of working in a high-volume procurement environment, specifically with general procurement activities, ideally within captive or BPO operations. 
  • Experience in process improvement and application systems implementation
  • Intermediate level of English, local language knowledge is preferred (Hungarian)
  • Knowledge of ERP systems (SAP MM is preferred) and eProcurement solutions
  • Proficient in using Microsoft Office suite, especially MS Excel
  • Experience in VBA and SQL, ability to write complex macros for automation, scripting experience is a great advantage
  • Proficiency in data visualization (PowerBI is preferred)
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills, Customer service focus
  • Highly organized and ability to work in a team environment

It is a great advantage if you additionally have:

  • Operational understanding of energy/chemical/oil industry, previous functional background in energy/chemical/oil industry appreciated
  • Process mining experience
  • Work experience in a Shared Service Centre environment
  • Experience in interfacing with business customers
