Responsibilities

Design and develop custom SAPUI5 applications and Fiori Elements using the latest OData V4 standards
Extend and enhance standard Fiori apps using side-by-side extensibility on SAP BTP to keep the S/4HANA core stable
Collaborate with backend developers to design and consume CDS Views and service definitions via the RESTful ABAP Programming Model (RAP) or Cloud Application Programming Model (CAP)
Apply SAP Fiori Design Guidelines to ensure a consistent, role-based, and intuitive user experience across all devices
Configure and maintain the SAP Fiori Launchpad and integrate apps into SAP Build Work Zone
Implement intelligent features using SAP AI Core or Joule to enhance app functionality with predictive insights or natural language processing

Requirements

4+ years of expertise in JavaScript / TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3
Advanced knowledge of SAPUI5 and Fiori Elements
Proven experience with OData (V2/V4) and SAP Gateway troubleshooting
Mastery of SAP Business Application Studio (BAS), VS Code, and Git/GitHub for version control
Hands-on experience with SAP BTP services (Destination service, XSUAA, Connectivity)
User-centric mindset
Comfortable working in Scrum/Agile sprints and participating in daily stand-ups
Ability to debug complex UI issues using Chrome DevTools and SAPUI5 Inspector
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field
