Our client is an American multinational company, and for their Budapest office I am looking for a Regional Artworks Operation Solution Manager. The role holder is responsible for the day to day operation of the Artwork Operations team, including responsibility for the people, processes and technology required to deliver said service.
The individual is responsible for managing a team of Workflow, Artwork, DTP and QC staff delivering a range of multi-language communications materials.

What you will be doing:

  • Accountable for the day-to-day operations of the Artwork Solutions team
  • Overall responsibility for the quality of work leaving the Studio
  • First line direct reports of up to 10 staff
  • Effective management of all functional areas, including Workflow, Artwork, DTP and QC both local and off-shore
  • Ensures highest calibre people are in the right roles, continuously improving the calibre of people through selection (recruitment) and development (training) activity
  • Motivates, develops and mentor’s employees and team leaders / managers
  • Maintains resources, capabilities and capacity to meet both existing and new business demand
  • Manage and monitor costs and resources within Artwork Solutions team to ensure P&L targets and operating budget are achieved with full cost recovery
  • Management and continuous improvement of productivity resulting in increased cost effectiveness and maximum utilisation
  • Ownership of problems and incidents, identification of root causes and addressing these (incident and NCR processing)
  • Responsible for managing service delivery across client accounts
  • Key senior contact for customers (internal/external) and suppliers
  • Ensures consistent and measured delivery of service to agreed SLAs and that client contractual targets and measurements are met
  • Provides support to new business opportunities taking an active role in bids
  • Supports the transition and implementation of new business (including new service offers)
  • Ensures robust tools and technological platforms are in place to support customer requirements and best service solution
  • Ensure the feedback from the customer is communicated to the team and changes to delivery strategies are implemented where required

Requirements that make you the best candidate:

  • High School Diploma / (GED) / Secondary School GCSE or equivalent
  • Significant experience of multi-language creative services management
  • In-depth knowledge Artwork and multi-language DTP production techniques
  • Strong people management skills - able to motivate and supervise a multi-skilled team
  • Demonstrable experience of managing large scale (high volume), high value projects
  • Able to evidence improved customer satisfaction and productivity achievements
  • A recognised leader with significant experience of leading and managing diverse teams within the creative services environment
  • Ability to influence and work with senior managers in the client organisation
