Record to Report Accountant

Role purpose:

    The Record to Report Accountant executes all activities as defined in the SLAs/OLAs for RtR & Asset Management for selected local companies reporting to the Team Leader RtR & AM.

Responsibilities:

  • Process all regular and ad-hoc General Ledger postings
  • Perform all relevant closing activities for RTR and Asset Management area (monthly, quarterly, year-end) and reconciliation
  • Support fixed assets accounting (e.g. create and maintain asset master data) and investment management process
  • Coordinate Intercompany process
  • Complete reconciliation of assigned General Ledger accounts
  • Support auditors during year-end audits
  • Perform internal control activities and ad hoc administrative tasks
  • Contribute to projects to stabilize and improve process performance

Requirements:

  • University or college degree in economics or finance
  • At least 2-3 years work experience in accounting at a Shared Service Center
  • Fluent in English (another European language knowledge is an advantage)
  • Strong accounting and Excel knowledge
  • Proven record of Balance Sheet reconciliation experience
  • Systematic and quality-oriented way of working
  • Flexibility and capacity to work under pressure with regard to function and time
