Product Manager - Oncology

to our AstraZeneca Budapest office

Position summary:

    Product Manager effectively manages dedicated product/s and consolidates other departments input into the product business plan.

Responsibilities:

  • Managing and creating marketing product strategy by gathering and consolidating inputs
  • Consolidation of sales, access, PR inputs to the Business plan and detailing of Business plan to Brand Plan, Operational Plan and Campaign Plan
  • Contribution to achieving agreed sales and marketing goals and cost targets
  • Based on close collaboration with Regulatory, Medical and Market Access and following developments of the products of his/her responsibility creating product information materials
  • Responsible for preparation of all promotional material required for effective product promotion in line with AZ HU promo items approval policy, liaise with the advertising agency
  • Preparation and delivery of trainings for Medical Representatives
  • 3 Field visits per quarter
  • Managing marketing events, and taking part in organization of international/national congresses
  • Close liaison with the field force to assess the response to and suitability of current promotional material and to ensure that the printed promotional material is being used optimally.
  • Managing market research projects
  • Monitoring of product performance and performance indicators and situation analysis
  • Responsible for using of all sources of market data to develop market models which allow product strategies to be optimised
  • Maintaining personal relationships with selected Key opinion leaders within TA
  • Preparing sales forecasts and co-operation with logistic department

Requirements:

    Education:
    • BA or MA degree in economics/health sciences
     
    Experience:
    • Min 3-5 years of Product/Sales management experience in multinational pharma industry
    • Understanding of pharma business
    • Understanding of Marketing Planning process, Forecasting, Budgeting, Market Researching
     
    Advantage:
    • Oncology knowledge and experience on Oncology TA
    • Market research experience
    • Sales management experience
