Problem Manager

    We are looking for enthusiastic and agile candidates to the position of Problem Manager to our Global Services Operations to manage serious operational disruptions national and international with the involvement of ALLIANZ TECHNOLOGY-IT, customers and external providers with the aim of clarifying the impact, root cause and define tasks for long-term avoidance of such errors.


  • Problem Management (End-to-End) of high priority P1 incidents including lead, moderation and documentation of international phone conferences and meetings
  • Communication with management on C-Level
  • Pro-active analysis to prevent major incidents
  • Creation of reports in Excel and Service Now and dynamic analysis for pro-active issue detection
  • Continuous Improvement of Problem processes and corresponding tools
  • Contribution and responsibility for small projects and process improvements


  • Several years of practical ITSM experience in IT enterprise operations
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in ITIL process flows (change, problem and incident management)
  • ITIL Certification (minimum Foundation 3.x or higher)
  • Excellent English language skills - spoken and written
  • Basic German language skills - spoken and written
  • Excellent communication and team skills in an international environment
  • Ability to lead international calls and drive for results

  • Conceptual, analytical thinking
  • Ability to understand complex facts quickly and to represent them easily and to process them in a focused manner
  • Experience with ITSM Tools like Service Now or equivalent
