Powerplant and APU Manager


    This position is responsible for the oversight and entire planning of Engine and APU support in any kind of aspect (spares, shop visits, budgeting and operational availability).


  • Follow up of powerplant / APU maintenance requirements (AD, SB, LLPs, etc.) and configuration control;
  • Powerplant / APU Maintenance Plan development, revision and follow up;
  • Preparation, coordination and negotiation of powerplant and APU shop visit workscopes and shop visit management;
  • Powerplant and APU shop visit planning and coordination with maintenance planning;
  • Spare engine management;
  • Participation in powerplant and APU related tenders and negotiations;
  • PW1100G engine into service process management;
  • Co-operation with OEM and supplier;
  • Co-operation with TM, MCC, STP, LTP, Technical Supply and other departments (Fleet development, Finance, Legal etc.)
  • Lease contracts, maintenance reserve and warranty claims management and administration;
  • Financial forecasting and analysis;
  • On time publication of all relevant information for OEM, shops, lessors and other third parties;
  • Powerplant and APU Reliability program development, monitoring, revision and data collection;
  • Powerplant condition monitoring, analysis and reporting;
  • Support at on-wing engine troubleshooting and engine replacement;
  • Proper technical record keeping and administration (AD / SB statuses);
  • Oversight of powerplant and APU repairs during shop visit;
  • Integrity of the reported data in-house and to third parties;
  • Correction of discrepancies revealed by quality audits;
  • Other tasks stipulated by Superior Manager;
  • Follow applicable requirements of Safety Management System i.a.w. Section 4 of OMM;


  • Finalized university degree;
  • Fluent English knowledge;
  • Fuel Tank Safety training level 2;
  • EWIS training;
  • Human Factors training;
  • Three years of experience in continuing airworthiness or Part 145 maintenance organization;
  • V2500 Type training (Level III);
  • Thorough knowledge of Part M, Part 145 and relevant parts of Part 21 regulation;
  • Knowledge of maintenance methods;
  • Thorough knowledge of the CAME;
  • Good knowledge of relevant parts of OM, operational requirements and procedures;
  • Good knowledge of AMOS and MS Office tool;
  • PW1100G-JM Type training (Level III) is a plus;
