Portuguese speaking Content Moderator

  • Content moderation/review work

  • Review content categorized as abuse (sensitive text and images) by users

  • Review and take action on content that violates policies including copyright/pirated content

  • Help users to reset their password or suspend/unsuspend their accounts

  • Review user accounts to verify their identity and take action

  • Judge/decide on content by referring to client policy/guidelines

  • Respond back to users with necessary actions that must be taken to correct content


  • Previous customer service experience (mainly in email support)

  • Language expertise in English AND Portuguese (reading, writing and understanding)

  • Be open and comfortable to be exposed to highly sensitive and adult explicit content on a daily basis

  • Excellent written communication with ability to pass a written language assessment in Portuguese/English

  • Ability to evaluate content by referring to a policy

  • Active interest in  Social Media: Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, YouTube, Instagram etc.

  • Strong analytical and research skills

  • Ability to work in fast and evolving workflows with eye for detail

  • Ability to work under pressure
