We are looking for a Country Sourcing Team Lead for our Team within the Sourcing organization.

Who we are? The team’s primary role is to conduct strategic sourcing and procurement for all major goods and services that are purchased by the Citi businesses.

Your tasks:

  • Conduct end to end sourcing and contract management for nominated countries within the team in a controlled and compliant manner according to all relevant internal policies and procedures, and external rules and regulations
  • To develop and implement local sourcing strategies in line with Regional and Global EMEA Sourcing strategies for all relevant for Country Sourcing Categories.
  • Achieve the procurement objectives for the categories including delivery of defined Cost Reduction and Cost Avoidance save targets as agreed during the planning process
  • Analyze business processes and determine opportunities for influencing (and reducing) supply and demand of services.
  • Manage and close any supplier service escalations raised by clients, resolve and mitigate effects of commercial disputes.
  • Analyze supplier proposals, structure and negotiate new (and renewal) supply agreements.
  • Participate in the development, implementation and monitoring of purchasing policies and procedures.
  • As this position interacts with all levels of management, including senior management, at both Citigroup and at suppliers, works with Sourcing leadership to ensure strategic direction, operational and quality goals are maintained.
  • People management responsibility for a team, including coaching and training, as well as regular performance management. Ensure that people management related tasks are executed in the managed team in accordance with Citi policies and procedures, complying with statutory regulations and laws (e.g. recruitment, work orders, managing performance, etc.)
  • Support and deputize Group/Function Manager in people managerial responsibilities

Your profile:

  • 5 years Sourcing or Transactional Procurement experience and 7 years overall work experience
  • 1-3 years of direct people management experience is desirable
  • Fluent written and spoken Polish and English
  • Accuracy, attention to detail, advanced analytical skills
  • Ability to work in matrix organization and work with remote team
  • Advanced communication and presentation skills
  • Diplomatic skills / political savvy
  • Strategic thinking
  • Organizational skills: time management, priorities, coordination, delegation
