Junior Cyber Security Consultant

Scope of the role:

You will support our clients in their Cyber Security & Privacy governance, compliance, risk management and business continuity processes in various sectors (e.g. Financial Services, Telecommunications, Technology, Automotive & Manufacturing) throughout the whole project lifecycle starting from the proposal phase and delivery to project closing activities. By cooperating closely and building good relationships with the clients’ management you will understand their Cyber Security strategy and operations including their alignment with the business operations.

You will be supported to deep dive yourself into different Cyber Security areas and take ownership of your chosen area, including knowledge development and sharing and impactful involvement of PwC service development activities.

As part of an international cyber security team and with the “one-firm” approach you will be actively involved in international and cross-service line cooperations as well.

Your main responsibilities will include

  • Consult with clients throughout the entire project lifecycle, from putting together /writing proposals to creating reports and presenting the project scope; 

  • Delivering Cyber Security compliance and risk assessments;

  • Active participation in the establishment of Cyber Security & Privacy governance processes;

  • Build and maintain great relationships with clients and within the PwC network;

  • Develop yourself and learn about new technologies;

  • Become an owner of one of our services ( within a short period of time);

  • Support more senior team members to reach the overall team objectives.

You can be a great potential if you have:

  • University /college degree in Business IT, Computer Science, Cyber Security or related field;

  • 2+ years’ experience in Security/Cyber Analytical or Cyber Security Compliance role;

  • Knowledge of Cyber Security frameworks and regulations (e.g. ISO27k, PCI DSS, NIST, EU/Hungarian or MNB cyber security regulations, etc.)

  • Enthusiasm over Cyber Security and new technologies;

  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, English is a must;

  • Willingness and availability to travel and work on international projects;
