Our client is the 2nd largest bank, in the world, they are looking for IT Technical Support Officer who will handle the daily activities of the IT department and assist in developing and driving innovative IT strategy and solutions aligned with business goals.

IT Technical Support Officer


  • Perform efficient identification and monitoring of suspicious activities and transactions
  • Co-ordinate day-to-day IT operations and support according to the defined standards processes and procedures 
  • Administer servers, desktop computers, printers, routers, switches, firewalls, phones, smartphones, software deployment, applying operating system updates, patches, and configuration changes 
  • Achieve daily backup operations, ensuring all required file systems and system data are successfully backed up to the appropriate media, recovery tapes or disks are created, and media is recycled and sent off site as necessary 
  • Execute daily system monitoring, verifying the integrity and availability of all hardware, server resources, systems and key processes, reviewing system and application logs, and verifying completion of scheduled jobs such as backups 
  • Work with vendors to resolve network problems 
  • Perform regular file archival and purge as necessary 
  • Documenting the configuration of the systems 
  • Investigate and troubleshoot issues 
  • Repair and recover infrastructure systems from hardware or software failures
  • Permanently take care of risk and control aspects 
  • Continuously take part in the improvement of operational procedures 
  • Report any customer complaints to his/her direct Management and to the Compliance Department 
  • Administer servers, desktop computers, printers, routers, switches, firewalls, phones, smartphones, software deployment, operating system updates, patches, and configuration changes 
  • Work together with international IT Team to achieve business needs and project goals ∙ Work together and coordinate external suppliers / consultants


  • Bachelor’s degree in IT
  • More than 3 years IT experience with advanced understanding of IT infrastructure, theories, principles, and practices
  • Excellent interpersonal, written and oral communication skills
  • Able to work independently in a high-pressure environment
  • Advanced knowledge of Active Directory administration
  • Knowledge of System and Data backups - including tape based backup methods (Netbackup preferred)
  • Basic knowledge of Networking
  • Experience with email management systems
  • Good listening and analytical skills, proactivity, respect of data confidentiality, good awareness of risks related to IT aspects, autonomy and work flexibility
  • Fluency in English
