Responsibilities
- The Onsite IT Engineer (OSE) is responsible for supporting all site-based IT at the Foundever site(s) stated. As well as supporting the business in all aspects of ‘local’ IT service delivery. The role is considered the IT hands and eyes at the sites stated.Effectively manage the IT Ticket Queue for the respective site

- Manage and oversee all IT local compliance at site,
- Support and provide “backup” for other OSEs in EMEA when there is a requirement to deliver
- Assist IT management and IT service delivery with any bespoke projects such as asset management and standardisation / remediation tasks.
- Maintain full responsibility for the operational maintenance of systems and services across the local Site IT environment, providing day to day operational and technical support.
- Managing IT escalations from the Service Desk and within IT, providing on site and remote technical support and assistance for all Foundever technologies, as well as client systems (if approved and applicable)
- The position must take personal responsibility to understand and comply with all company and client corporate and security requirements and policies.
- Site Management: It is expected that this position is a key member of the Local Business team, working in partnership with their site Business Stakeholders and attending local site reviews and Operational meetings regularly.
Requirements
- This role will suit someone who has technical support experience or has previously worked in end user support. Previous onsite engineer or similar experience would be very advantageous.
- ITIL – Experience of working to ITIL principles, preferably certified to at least foundation level.
- Security – Experience of migrating / maintaining IT operations
- Laptop and PC general support experience (Essential)
- Windows - Active Directory administration (Preferred)
- Windows 10 & 11 operating system support (Preferred)
- Understanding of Anti-Virus clients and Microsoft patch management (Preferred)
- Dell & HP Server hardware (Advantageous)
- Microsoft Office & 365 support / Email client & MS Exchange support (Advantageous)
- Building & imaging Hardware, with a working knowledge of Microsoft SCCM / Azure (Preferred)
- DNS, DHCP management (Advantageous)
- Windows server 2016+ (Beneficial)
- Local printer support & centralized networked printer support (Advantageous)
- Cisco, Avaya & Softphone support experience (Advantageous)
- Experience in first level support ticket management (i.e. IT Service Desk) (Beneficial)

EDUCATION
EXPERIENCE
- Preferable – At least A level educated or European equivalent in a Science or Computing related field, high school graduation is a must. MS qualifications such as MCSE are advantageous as are any ITIL qualifications. Any other vocational training and qualifications in the Information Technology field will be considered advantageous.
EXPERIENCE
- This role will suit someone who has technical support experience or has previously worked in end user support. Previous onsite engineer or similar experience would be very advantageous. Knowledge of the call centre and BPO business is also very advantageous.
