ALDI International IT Services has a significant role within ALDI SÜD. We are providing IT support for our employees in our stores and offices in eight European countries. We operate in two different, continuously growing locations in Biatorbágy and Pécs. In this context, we are looking for a new colleague in the following role.

IT Manager - Operations

Key activities

  • leading different teams, responsible for 1st and 1,5 level support activities in multiple working domains
  • operate Incident, Event, and Major Incident Management processes according to globally defined standards
  • provide input to Change and Problem Management activities
  • align on Continuous Service Improvement initiatives with counterparts
  • participate in operational efficiency initiatives to meet annual targets
  • ensure the continuous development, training and coaching for team members
  • drive continuous improvement of Operations to meet annual KPI and SLA targets
  • initiate ITIL based process development
  • identify and formalize service requirements and translate into technical measurement
  • provide input for monitoring, reporting, analyzing service level alignment with business requirements
  • manage operational budget and assist with annual budget exercise
  • manage and resolve critical situations through effective communication with the business units and other parties
  • operate the office in Pécs the pre-defined standards

Accountabilities

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred in a computer related field
  • excellent English and German language skills
  • a minimum of 4 years progressive experience within IT Service Desk environment,
  • at least 3 years of experience in people management is essential,
  • ITIL v3 Foundation certification,
  • ITIL v3 Service Operations certification is an advantage,
  • having gained experience in a fast paced environment,
  • outstanding analytical approach,
  • self-motivated and result-oriented personality,
  • strong stakeholder management,
  • advanced presentation technique skills,
  • ability to work both independently and in a team,
  • open minded and good understanding of new IT solutions
