IT Asset Management Analyst

    Working as part of our fast-growing dedicated Global EMEA Service Asset & Configuration Management Team, accountable for a high-priority Unisys client, you will be responsible for driving the efficiency and effectiveness of the Service Management process. Our unit’s mission is also to identify opportunities for continuous improvement and to support audit of the use of the process on an operational level.

Main responsibilities:

  • Act as an active member of an Asset Management team working with both on-site and local field resources to identify and validate complete life cycle of end user and enterprise assets
  • Execute and deliver process outputs and deliverables of the Change Management / Request Management / Major Incident / Critical Situation / Problem Management process
  • Provide Ad-Hoc reports for both hardware and software assets
  • Work with field resources and service delivery teams to identify missing information
  • Work with data to eliminate inconsistencies and perform other due diligence analysis
  • Populate all Software License Data and client provided hardware and software data in ITSM CMDB (Configuration Management Database)
  • Reconcile all software licenses against all installed software instances to report on software license compliance
  • Execute data updates for the Disposal process
  • Follow defined processes to ensure data accuracy within the Asset Management CMDB System

Key Technical areas of Expertise:

  • Bachelor's Degree and relevant experience in an ITIL based Enterprise Infrastructure environment (eg. Asset Management / Request Management / Change Management / IT Logistics)
  • Experience in understanding, setting up, driving, managing and improving processes
  • Disciplined and structured approach to process management in a consistent and methodical manner that reports against service deliverables
  • Must be able to analyze data from multiple data sources (eg. SCCM, ADDM, ServiceNow Discovery, Altiris, LANDesk, etc.)
  • High degree of understanding of Microsoft Excel and database concepts

  • Attention to detail, ability to work under pressure
  • Effective presentation skills
  • Strong English verbal and written communication skills across multiple staff levels and customers

You’ll have the advantage if:

  • You have completed an ITIL v3 Foundation or ITIL Intermediate Certification on Release Control and Validation
  • You are familiar with MS Excel VBA (Visual Basic for Applications) and have working knowledge in creating Macros
  • Have experience with ServiceNow or similar ITSM toolset (HPSM is highly beneficial)
