Internal Control Operations Delivery Manager

If you join our Internal Control team, you may have the following responsibilities:

  • Manage a team supporting assigned Businesses (Lubricants) and service lines
  • Mentor and develop team members - coordinate the team and SME activities, provide guidance on control matters
  • Co-ordinate the support provided and ensure secure and in-time delivery of internal control related services. Provide feedback and influence outcomes as necessary
  • Drive the management and development of control documentation including Process Control Model (PCM), creation of new documents and process controls to ensure Controls evolve with the changes in the business environment
  • Drive internal control ideas beyond supported business to implement effective and efficient ways of working and to improve standardization across internal control operation
  • Manage the Incident Management process: address specific control issues and ensure subsequent improvements in response to incidents
  • Manage processes in support of Delegation of Authorities website records, of Expenses and support Fraud and Compliance and Risk Management activities
  • Actively assist and support the Internal Control Leadership Team, to manage requirements around Ethics & Compliance in matters of process, controls, training, communications, according to agenda
  • Promote the development and maintenance of a sound Risk Management
  • Acting as project Delivery Manager for implementation and execution of Internal Control projects and/or project milestones
  • Responsible for the end to end Due Diligence process – for those countries assigned
  • Manage project initiatives impacting assigned business
  • Build and strengthen relationship with Senior stakeholders and with Lubes Financial leadership team

In the role we have the following requirements:

  • At least 10 years of relevant experience in Internal Control, Internal Audit, Ethics and Compliance or Legal
  • Educated to university degree level or equivalent in Accounting, Finance or Business Management
  • Certification in accounting and/or Internal Audit qualification
  • Experience in leadership and mentoring
  • Fluent business English is mandatory
  • Excellent understanding of system controls, financial controls and risk assessment including an understanding of how Finance processes and systems operate at the company and key interfaces
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to influence and manage stakeholders in higher level
