International Mobility Advisor (Maternity cover)

    We are looking for enthusiastic individuals to join our great team. HR Services team provides effective answers to HR related questions to our colleagues while delivering high quality services and adding value to the business.

What you will do:

  • Be the expert on Vodafone’s Global International Assignment Mobility policies, providing advice and guidance on their implementation and ensure that it drives the process
  • Ensure that a range of key international mobility processes are delivered in an effective and timely manner, and that opportunities for continuous development are identified e.g. International Assignee Annual Salary review, process reviews
  • Ensure that the drafting of assignment documentation, including assignment offer letter, salary build-up sheet and the total cost summary sheet are completed in a timely and accurate manner
  • Ensure that the drafting of permanent international move documentation, including relocation letter and total cost summary sheet are completed in a timely and accurate manner
  • Work closely with HR Business partners, Resourcers, International Mobility Champions, Group International Mobility and HR Services on potential assignments and permanent moves
  • Work closely with the Group International Mobility and make recommendations on the future Vodafone international mobility operating model to be more effective & efficient
  • Conduct briefing calls with the business and the international assignees on the agreed assignment terms and conditions
  • Liaise with external vendors to make sure the relocation happens as smoothly as possible
  • Support the International Lead and play a key role in the ongoing evolution of the team


  • Strong, fluent English knowledge (2nd language is an advantage)
  • HR & expat management and coordination experience, specifically in a global multi-national environment
  • University / College degree, preferably HR Professional Qualification
  • Experience in a multi-national, shared services environment, including clear customer service and resolution of escalated issues
  • Strong project management and consultancy skills
  • Good time- and stress-management skills
  • Cross cultural sensitivity
  • Good understanding of MS Office applications (SAP is an advantage)
