Responsibilities
- Oversee the day-to-day management of all student-facing services, ensuring responsiveness, efficiency, and alignment with institutional priorities.
- Drive continuous service improvement through operational compliance, quality assurance, and the development and implementation of new systems and processes.
- Maintain ongoing communication with students, providing counselling and support related to applications, academic progress, and administrative services.
- Serve as the primary liaison coordinating operational activities between academic departments and professional service units.
- Manage administrative functions including preparation and issuance of student documents, coordination of final examinations, diploma issuance, and graduation ceremony support.
- Administer first-instance committee processes related to academic affairs, examinations, scholarships, and social matters.
- Manage content administration, regulatory compliance, and organizational tasks within the Neptun Unified Study System in partnership with Education Management.
- Maintain accurate records of student-related forms and strictly accountable printed materials.
Requirements
- Education up to degree level
- Active and fluent English and Hungarian both verbally and in writing
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in a leadership position, ideally in higher education
- Proven experience in office administration within a fast-paced, customer-facing environment—preferably with direct student interaction.
- Demonstrated ability to support individuals facing sensitive or complex issues with professionalism, empathy, and discretion.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the capacity to remain calm under pressure while prioritizing competing demands.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to foster a student-focused, friendly, and efficient service culture.
- Ability to think strategically and operationally to enhance service delivery and contribute to institutional goals.
