Hardware Subproject Leader for eMobility

Task:

  • Your contribution to something big:

    ►Responsibility for leading hardware engineering projects to develop power electronic units used in hybrid and electric vehicles

    ►Represent hardware development during negotiations with internal and external customers

    ►Responsibility for regular information exchange with customer project leader and sub-project leaders from other domains (e.g. mechancis, SW, etc.)

    ►Responsibility for defining and controlling the resource plan for hardware sub-project

    ►Responsibility for defining and controlling the budget plan for hardware sub-project

    ►Responsibility for defining and controlling the time schedule for hardware sub-project

    ►Coordinate the development activities of hardware sub-project

    ►Continuously review the hardware development process and evaluate the actual design compared to the original plan

    ►Preparation of risk assessments and communicating them to higher management and customers

    ►Responsibility for defining, deploying and controlling the hardware requirements for hardware sub-project

    ►Coordinate the introduction of upcoming project changes during the development phase

    ►Responsibility for preparation and actualization of documents required by hardware development processes

    ►Support hardware design engineers during negotiations with suppliers

Expectation:

  • What distinguishes you:

    ►BSc or MSc degree in electronic or power-electronic engineering or comparable

    ►Experience in project management in automotive field

    ►Ability to lead interdisciplinary development teams

    ►Good coordination and communication skills

    ►Ability to work independently

    ►Ability to manage concurrent tasks

    ►Ability to efficiently gain an overview on complex technical contents or complex project situations

    ►Structured working method

    ►Willingness to travel

    ►Process and quality orientation

    ►Fluent English or German language skills
