GRIR Accounting Analyst

    The GRIR Accounting Analyst is accountable for working out and implementing an effective and efficient GRIR monthly reporting and cleansing process for the Fuels Rhine business and accountable for the continuous and high-volume decrease of the aged balance on the GRIR GL account of the businesses in scope.

If you join our Compliance team, you may have the following responsibilities:

  • Establishing a standard GRIR process and being accountable for its operation on a daily basis
  • Through root cause analysis & continuous learning pro-actively identify & manage recurring issues.
  • Resolve internal & external queries and issues
  • Work cross-functionally with Shared Service, Accounts Payable, Group Reporting and Business Owners surrounding GRIR clearing requirements and follow up on queries / issues (invoice remediation, quantity/price variances)
  • Prepare and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and manuals as per ISO requirements ensuring compliance thereon
  • Escalate new scenarios as and when they appear providing recommendations for handling
  • Maintain KPI’s to flag issues/ progress in GR/ IR clearance
  • Supporting operations with accountability for managing and monitoring all P2P processes in the respective process and providing accurate and timely management information and reconciliations as require
  • Being accountable for ensuring that controls are in place and working effectively across all processes and systems
  • Analyse and improve PPI / KPI results

In the GRIR Accounting Analyst role we have the following requirements:

  • Active professional English language knowledge is a must (C1 level)
  • Primary Academic Degree or suitable similar qualification
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in Procurement, Accounts Payable or P2P function, preferably in a multinational environment, mainly in the GRIR area / BSI
  • Demonstrated knowledge of SAP R3 ERP FI and MM modules, SAP SRM and Oracle ERP
  • Experience in complex and system orientated environments is essential
  • Highly motivated and ambitious to deliver value to end customers and business both operationally and financially
