French Speaking Project Assistant / Service Operation Manager

This position will support projects to reduce water loss and increase global water security.  Our globally distributed team is focused on improving operational efficiency in water distribution systems, including identifying leaks, increasing visibility into pressure and flow, and identifying water that appears to be lost due to incorrect metering. 

 

This role will provide back office project management support for engagements across the globe, being primarily responsible for ensuring that projects are on track, that customer obligations are met, and that corporate systems accurately reflect status and financial forecasts. The ideal candidate will enjoy working in a global corporation dedicated to making a difference to our Utility Customers, their customers, and the global environment.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain support of existing infrastructure
  • Coordinate with multiple organizations and roll out changes without disruption
  • Help drive the convergence of solutions across groups in Engineering
  • Assist in the use of common tools and solutions within Engineering ands Production

Skills Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Economics or equivalent experience
  • Proven PMO/Project Analyst or Coordinator experience and knowledge of project management
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in  English and French
  • Understanding of the principles and frameworks of successful project management
  • Proven experience in providing service to internal stakeholders to achieve successful project outcomes
  • Understanding of project delivery and acceptance processes within a fast-paced business environment
  • Ability to engage in multiple projects across multiple time zones
  • Will need to have a flexible schedule to work with teams globally
  • Demonstrated capability for problem solving, organizational skills, decision making
  • Assertive with strong relationship building and interpersonal skills
  • MS Project and MS Office toolset

Skills Desired

  • PMP or other project management related additional certification
