Your place in the team

    Solve fix network problems, give second line operation support. Active administration, maintenance and measurements of all platforms. Changes of configuration and firmware co-operating with Deployment Teams. Keep close contact to suppliers’ and Engineering. Provide on call duty service for the maintained equipment. Perform preventive maintenance routines. Monitor Fix network proactively, manage events.

You will be involved in

  • Installation and testing support for fix platforms
    • Initiate and take part in System Acceptance and User Acceptance tests
    • Communicate with internal groups involved and with third parties as needed.
    • Monitor the status of the work area and make necessary actions
    • Ensure and be familiar with Hungarian Health & Safety regulations and Vodafone Group Standards. Behave safely at all high risk objectives delivered by Vodafone and its contractors
  • Develop maintenance routines for maintained platforms
    • Gather experiences during normal working hours and on call,
    • Working proactively to avoid outages caused by known problems
  • Provide second line support for maintained platforms
    • Perform Maintenance and troubleshooting activities on the supervised platforms and equipment (BNG, AAA, OLT, ONT)
    • Support Engineering solving deep functional reengineering problems
  • Provide on call duty in out of offices Hours
    • Act according to the procedures if problems are forwarded from Front Office in out of office hours.
    • Keep all relevant parties continuously informed about the status of troubleshooting during the On Call event according the procedures.
  • Actively and effectively cooperates with his/her internal (local, regional, global) and external contacts and stakeholders
  • Maintain good working relationship with all parties throughout various level of the organization

  • Actual vs. planned downtime
  • Tool Support; Inputs for planning tool and databases
  • Reporting
    • Prepare detailed descriptions about performed planned works, on call events
    • Prepare quality report with planned and unplanned outages
  • Deep knowledge of Nokia active and fix passive network equipment’s
  • Deep knowledge and understanding of fix networks standards, BNG (AAA), OLT and ONT equipment’s and platforms
  • Knowledge of Operation Support Systems (OSS) mainly alarm and performance management, inventory and activation.
  • Understanding of OSS processes and OSS-Network integration
  • Intermediate spoken and written English
  • Excellent computer skills
  • Good overall understanding of Network aspects of a fix and mobile operating company
  • Problem solving

We are looking for you if you have

  • M.Sc. or B.Sc. educational degree certificate in Telecommunication, Information Technology or Electrical engineering
  • 2 years work experience in Fix back office operations
