Financial Operations Specialist - with Language Proficiency - VOC00036O

Role purpose:

    To perform regular and ad-hoc accounting transactions and financial analyses for financial and operations management related to processes such as banking & cash management, purchase to pay, dealer commissions etc. as well as supporting process improvements.

What you will do:

  • Upload and reconcile bank receipts in SAP
  • Allocate payments to correct vendor accounts/ roaming receipts/ payments to general or sub-ledger
  • Send self- billing to vendors
  • Process incoming and outgoing invoices
  • Perform month-end reporting, complete balance sheet reconciliations and month-end accruals
  • Resolve disputes raised by the vendors
  • Resolve blocked items, chase goods receipts and investigate process failures
  • Participate in relevant ERP migration testings
  • Provide support for new forecasting requests, perform productivity assessments, what if scenarios, and related analysis
  • Participate in projects that have a potential impact on reports or processes related to the commissions area, participate in the sign-off process
  • Act as a consultant to business partners in shaping the commission schemes. Present the financial impact and assesses the technical feasibility of proposed modifications to the commissioning scheme
  • Deliver reports, analyzes commission data, suggest corrective actions, initiate projects to improve data quality and processes. Optimize the dealer payment process
  • Perform root cause analysis and solve related problems, to ensure issues do not recur, to prevent the emergence of new issues and to improve productivity

This position is for you if you have:

  • Fluency in English and one of the following languages: Czech, Greek, Portuguese, Turkish
  • Experience in financial accounting or supply chain/sourcing
  • Experience in a Shared Services environment is a huge advantage
  • Computer skills (Word, advanced Excel and Access, databases)
  • SAP knowledge
  • Outstanding analytical and problem solving skills
  • Excellent communications skills
  • Customer focus
  • Independency at work with a self-starter, proactive attitude
