EMEAR Indirect Sourcing Leader

    Regional Indirect Sourcing Leader takes an essential role in the Colfax procurement process. Your job will support the operational and business leaders, as well as executive management team.
    The future leader will supervise a team of two empolyees and will overview the full indirect sourcing scope –including MRO, facilities and business services – within EMEA + Russia region.

Your daily job will include the following tasks:

  • Develop, implement, and establish policies, strategies, and goals for the company’s indirect sourcing operations to optimize procedures, attain maximum proficiency, and decrease indirect sourcing costs to maximize revenues
  • Develop and implement indirect sourcing processes that support business strategies adapted to changing market conditions, new business opportunities, or cost reduction strategies
  • Manage and lead the company’s global Information Technology sourcing portfolio ensuring transparency of spending
  • Analyze and evaluate the company's spending, supplying partnerships, and new possibilities to develop and establish strategies and goals for improvement on sourcing activities
  • Identify the strategic and tactical opportunities pertaining to indirect materials with a spend responsibility of EMEAR region. Perform strategic procurement activities across multiple categories of spend, identify opportunities to maximize cost savings and find more profitable suppliers for all categories of indirect materials
  • Interact with senior-level personnel of cross-functional regional teams (Finance, Manufacturing/Plant, Engineering, Quality, Marketing, Information Technology, HR, Transport, Freight and Logistics, and Operation) to establish and align strategies and goals to optimize indirect sourcing processes and to take advantage of market situations as they arise
  • Evaluate and analyze existing procedures or opportunities for streamlining activities to improve efficiency and meet product distribution and manufacturing needs
  • Exercise discretion to manage the Company’s day-to-day indirect sourcing operations including indirect spend, creating roadmap, strategy and sourcing policy decision
  • Develop long term strategic relationship with suppliers and use knowledge of managerial accounting and data analysis to identify cost drivers and market arbitrage opportunities to aggressively negotiate while managing supplier relationships
  • Develop and implement purchasing and contract management/negotiation strategies, policies, and procedures
  • Lead global contract management, supplier qualifications, negotiations, and performance management
  • Establish Indirect Sourcing saving target in Europe and Russia
  • Utilize fluency in English to communicate with suppliers and cross-function leaders located in Mexico and Brazil

You are the ideal candidate, if you have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, related field, or Economics degree on equivalent level
  • 10 years of progressive work experience in Sourcing - Indirect Categories in manufacturing environment covering MRO, Business Services & Facilities are must
  • Excellent stakeholder management
  • Proactive ability of systematic problem solving and self-starter mindset
  • The ability to meet priorities and deadlines, and to work under time pressure
  • Structured way of thinking and acting
  • Fluent English skills –both written and verbal
  • Strong Excel skills and other MS Office literacy is a must
  • Travel up to 50% of time (domestic and international)
