EMEA Sales Support Specialist

Position overview:

This role is ideally suited to an analytical individual who has demonstrated interest and experience in global investing, capital markets and the asset management industry.

In an exciting and dynamic environment, as a Sales Support Specialist you are responsible for assisting our Sales Coverage and Clients in expanding and increasing the usage of the industry-leading suite of products and services that support the integration of MSCI data and services into investment decisions. Opportunities for growth lie within the Client Coverage Team in the EMEA region.

Responsibilities:

  • Supporting a team of Sales Specialists in their sales efforts:
  • Collaborating with the Sales Specialists to determine workload and priorities
  • Coordinating with other departments who are vital to the working process: Legal, Sales Operations, Finance; ensuring timely execution
  • Coordinating contract preparation and following through to ensure delivery of the data
     
  • Actively contributing to revenue generation:
  • Understanding and contributing to client requirements, checking feasibility and pricing with internal teams, coordinating the preparation of contracts
  • Pre-sales: reviewing accounts and supporting the creation of sales proposals
     
  • Assisting in client onboarding and retention:
  • Responding to prospect/client queries and facilitating next steps in sales cycle
  • Maintaining an accommodating and supporting client relationship

Desired experience and qualifications:

  • 1-2 years of professional work experience within the financial services industry, fresh graduates are also welcome
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business or Economics, or equivalent
  • Superior communication and time management skills
  • Fluency in English (German or French language knowledge is a plus)
  • Ability to handle multiple projects independently
  • A self-starter with the ability to work individually and within a team
  • Highly motivated and detail oriented
  • Excellent networking and inter-personal skills
  • Interest in investment management, financial markets and products
  • Familiar with MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint
