DB2 System Administrator

The Hungarian branch operates in Budapest and remotely coordinates the technical infrastructure of the Central and Eastern European region.

We are looking for enthusiastic and agile candidates to the position of DB2 System Administrator to our Regional Data Center team in Budapest.

Responsibilities

  • Daily operation, monitoring of DB2 databases, immediate intervention in case of incidents, troubleshooting
  • Designing and dimensioning database configurations with particular regard to functionality, performance requirements, availability, redundancy and IT security
  • Professional installation and configuration of DB2 configurations, change management
  • Incident, change and problem management in ITSM / Service Desk
  • Ensuring parallel maintenance of production, test and disaster backup systems
  • Preparation, periodic inspection and maintenance of operational documentation
  • Professional contacts with suppliers, service partners, fault reports, repairs
  • Compliance with SLA contracts with customers, with particular regard to the Response Time and Time to Restore / Repair parameters
  • Backup and restore of the production and test system based on requirements, copy of high volume data between these systems

Requirements

  • Have at least 2-3 years of experience in multicultural environment, in the same position
  • Scripting skills
  • Advanced English is a must
  • High level communication skill
  • Proactive approach is expected
